Internals

 the iPad packs Apple's custom, PA Semi-designed 1GHz A4 system-on-a-chip -- a single Cortex A8 core coupled with a PowerVR SGX GPU. RAM on the iPad hasn't been revealed, but we suspect there's 512MB (at least) inside here -- we'll know more once iFixit or someone else puts the pad under the knife. Also onboard is 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, a digital compass, an accelerometer, microphone, and ambient light sensor. The 3G model that ships at the end of the month will add UMTS / HSDPA data along with an AGPS chip. You can purchase the device in capacities of 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB. We had the 64GB version for this review.
The battery -- a 25-watt-hour lithium-polymer (non-removable of course) -- held up surprisingly well in our testing. More on that in the battery section down below.




The buyer of an iPad is one of two people, the first is someone who sees not just the present, but the potential of a product like the iPad... and believes in and is excited about that potential. This is also a person who can afford what amounts to a luxury item. The second is an individual who simply doesn't need to get that much work done, and would prefer their computing experience to be easier, faster, and simpler. Does that sound like anyone you know?

Seton Hill University to give all students iPad!!!

Seton Hill University in Greensburg,pennsylvania has annouced that strarting in fall 2010 , every full-time student will get an iPad as part of the Seton Hill Griffin (scool mascot).

"students will be able to download their textbooks th their textbooks to their iPads from the iBook Store. in addition,iPads can be used as phones and for air and file sharing as well as note-taking..

What the iPad maybe should have been: The Dell Mini 5 prototype video

Michael Dell is ambushed and briefly shows off Dell's new Slate PC/smartphone.  I don't own a smart phone but this is the first that seems quite appealing to me.  It's a few months away from being available to consumers and the price is unknown.  It'll run Google's Android operating system with a 800x480 touchscreen and 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, SIM card slot, 3G support and has a 5 Mpixel camera. Someone tears down a prototype here.

Apple´s new baby .. ipad!

Yoooo ,  you all know about the iphone.. ofc u do . and maybe you acctully have one .. good for you!

But now apple  has come up with this new "thing" called the ipad.

So what is the ipad ? 

• The ipad has come from a gaming perspective  (awesome) 
• its like a big ipone touch 
• 9,7 inch IPD display
• 0,5inches thin  + 1,5 pounds  =  NOOOOOOTHING
• 10 hours battery time!!!
