Twitter going to start putting advertisements in your twitter stream

Looks like the free ride on twitter is over.  They announced this week that they'll be putting ads amongst the tweets of the one's you actually follows.

I hope it spells the end of twitter.  twitter is the most over hyped site on the web, maybe ever.
