With The Impossible Project leading the charge, it looks like Polaroid Instant photography is not dead after all. After Polaroid officially announced the end of making instant film in 2008, they are relaunching a new instant camera and film. The new Pic 1000 camera will use the old standard Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film which will also breath new life into the millions of older Polaroid instant camera models. This is the one analog photography formats that hasn't been surpassed by digital photography, in my opinion. Though there are digital cameras that also house a photo printer for immediate prints.
If you want to be a center of attention at your next house party, bring along a Polaroid and give out the pictures. Girls really love it.
