Final Fantasy XIV : "NO PLANS FOR XBOX VERSION"

The producer behind Final Fantasy XIV Hiromichi Tanaka said that Square Enix currently has "no plans" for an xbox 360 version of this game, althoug he did admit that the company is still in talks with microfoft.

But at this moment they are only working on the PS3 and windows version of the game.

He also days that the game is still on track to be relesed before the end of the year.

What do you think ? FF for Xbox  or not?

PS3 beats the Xbox 360 in FFXIII!

Well...at least beats it in customized FFXIII console design aesthetics.
( I have to say .. i need to date a guy with an FFXIII pimped ps3..i need it)

Final Fantasy XIII : 3 DVDs

Square Enix announced today that FFXIII will come on 3 DVDs for the Xbox 360.  (Of course only a single Bluray Disc for the PS3 version.)  This reminds me of FFVII which came on 3 CDs for the original PlayStation. Let's hope the disc swapping will be kept to a minimum like with VII.

The game is a large one, with Square estimating it'll take 50-60 hours to complete.  Let's hope it's quality.  The early buzz that I've read is that it's mostly all flash and little substance.  Final Fantasy XIII will release in North America and Europe on March 9, 2010.
