Xbox 360 passes 40 million consoles sold

Microsoft announced that their Xbox 360 has passed the 40 million consoles sold this week.  The PS3 has sold around 34 million but is coming on fast of late.  You can see that Microsoft is getting serious by dropping the price of the Xbox 360 in the US to $159 and allowing generic USB storage devices. Because the PS3 with Blu-ray is really starting to catch on as a movie medium and the PS3 has had an upper hand with the exclusive releases of late.

A break down of the Xbox 360's sold by fiscal year:

• FY 2005-2006 - 5.0 million
• FY 2006-2007 - 11.6 million
• FY 2007-2008 - 20.3 million
• FY 2008-2009 - 31.4 million
• FY 2009-2010 - 40.2 million

PS3 console mass failure!

If you thought the Xbox 360's red ring of death was bad, that might be nothing compared to this.  Nearly all the first generation PS3 consoles (non-slim) are failing due a bug and so far has not been fixed by Sony. Sony has recently reported a fix is forthcoming in the next 24 hours.  We'll see..

PS3 beats the Xbox 360 in FFXIII!

Well...at least beats it in customized FFXIII console design aesthetics.
( I have to say .. i need to date a guy with an FFXIII pimped ps3..i need it)

Bioshock 2 coming next week

Anyone else excited for Bioshock 2 coming next week?  I must admit the newest trailer looks pretty impressive.  I really couldn't get too into the first version.

Me..  Nerdphilia have like 5% left on my energy level 
and im not even close to CHECKPOINT!!!!!

I think I´m about to fail this day ... or well ..  
as everyone else should say ..  Im super ill! 

I have been in my bed the whole day, just chilling 
playing some bad lego batman and watching some trailers. 

And reading about project natal & sony´s  motion
 controller and im a litle DEPP as we call it in swedish .. 

The Sony motion controller seems to be much better 
than I thought, because of their short time of making it 
if you compare to  micros natal.. I do not know if I get a 
bit annoyed because I've been waiting for that natal project 
to come out for over a year now, or if it is true that Sony 
is one step ahead.

But to know that Sony has stolen the idea from Microsoft is not okay ..  
or some.. okey.. everyone in this busness 
steal from each and everyone ..
 nobody is perfect and all that junk ;)

Look at this, its about Sony's motion controller

ANYWAY HERE YOU GO ! 

and YES! Sony's motion controller seems to have better graphic and is more likely that it will work as good as it seems ... but hmm ... please microsoft let natal be as good as it seems .
