Schoolgirl writes to Nintendo, gets free DS!
One eleven year old schoolgirl really wanted an Nintendo DS but coulnt afford it.
so as a part of a school project she wrote to Nintendo, she explained to Nintendo that she had "begged" her parents for Nintendo´s handhelded consolle but that they had refused to buy her one.
So she asked Nintendo is they could send her one instead .. and.. they said yes!
Here is her letter :

Men Prefer Gaming Over Sex?!
A Recent Study from a University in California has shown that men perfer playing video games over having sex with their partners.
Of 100 men, 67 of them showed to have higher levels of adrenaline whilst playing games as super mario galazy and Gear of War compared to hwen they are having sex.
In the test they have 30min on playing games and then 30 min sex, the results shocked the students who were studying the correlation.
From their results it would seem most men actually got more pleasure from the gaming sessions than having sex.
Most of those man also enjoy gaming more than sex.
18% of the men said they perferred the video game over sex, whilist the other 82% said otherwise.

Are Video Games Too Expensive?
ARE VIDEO GAMES TOO EXPENSIVE ?
This question is one of the biggest questions right now in the videogame industry,
The answer to that question has to be a resounding YES at least as far as we cash-straooed punter are concerned. However one high flying game exec now thinks so to.
The Vice president of Namco Bandai partners Oliver Comte repots that games publishers are trying to find a new ways to
bolster retail sale and
make games more attractively priced for consumers.
“I am convinced that in the future we must change the price of video games – they’re too expensive for the audience. With the cost of development and the retail margins, £40 is a fair price (for us), but for the consumer it is too much.”
“A good price of a game should be around £20 – but for this price we can’t make a ten to 15-hour adventure. So for £20 we should offer consumers four to five hours of gameplay, then after that we can make additional money with DLC (downloadable content).”

No, you pay much less to see a movie but the value in time is so much more in a game. Ofcourse not all ames is worth the money even if the good and the bad games share price. It takes more money and time to make GTA4 then a more simple game.
i payed 400sek for my nhl09 on ps3 and i have been playing it more then any other game for the past year. and im still going strong : ) so it doesnt have to be that expensive to get a good game.Sometimes. Depends on how long playability is. If the game keeps you going for hours, its well spent money.
lol~for me,every motorsport video games is very cheap, becoz i can practice racing at home rather than at track,one day operation cost at track= one xbox360~lol

no, if you download them from piratebay lol... back home(mexico) i pay 60-100 usd for a ps3 game, if i travel to the US i can buy them for 40usd if they are labeled as "greatest hits"

Google honors the 30th anniversary of Pac-man
Google is honoring the 30th anniversary of Pac-man on their front page with in interactive Pac-man game. I remember playing a ton of Pac-man as a kid. Though Ms. Pac-man is a better game.
It's possible to play a perfect game of Pac-man, which is completing all 255 boards and scoring 3,333,360 points without dying.

Army VS Natal!

the army´s getting access to Microsofts Project Natal motion and voice recognition system for xbox ofc..The Army is really having a partnership with Microsoft Research,, pretty cool if you ask me.
Now you may think.. why? natal in the army?
Answer on that is : Natal could be used to add "minority Report" style controls to military system.
The Army is also Microsoft´s biggest single customer and has a parthership giving it early access to microsoft research and collaboration with the company´s researchers.

Hello PSP2!
Today everyone is talking about PSP2 today, but no one really knows if it going to be able.. 
and now i can finnaly tell you that its true.BUT it will not look like the picture its from 2009. E3 just came out telling that PSP2 is going to be able soon.

Most of us did perfer PSP orginal over PSP go (and i love my psp i think this is the best traveling consolle right now)
Here is some news about the new PSP2 i can give you
psp2 realease date will be most likely in the early 2011 according to the PSM3 editor.
much of the criticisms directed at the orginal PSP focused on the fact that sony was trying to make a device that was a litle to "all things for all people" - offering web,music,video and multimedia capabilites, at the sxpense of focusing on what gamer want, Which is massive exclusive blockbuster titles.
PSP2 price - if PSP2 can promise near PS3 quality visuals.. maybe like 200£ but they are not 100% get.. they will talk mer about it at the E3 in June.
but we expect to see a number of new features such as that long-mooted touchscreen,in addition to two cameras,possible 3G-connectivity (as opposed to PSPGo´s Wi-fi only) and "as hard to belive as it would be welcome" a four core cell CPU (the PS2 uses eight)
There are no reasons to belive why all of these new tech specs could not make up sony´s psp2 ^^

a Japanese man known as Sal9000 married Nene Anegasaki from the nintendo DS video Game "Love Plus" a virutal dating game.
He actually had a real cermony live in Guam where apparently it´s legal to marry not only inamitate but imaginary objects.

MW2 On Xbox Live Can Be Dangerous!
I have read a plenty of stories about video game injuries .. like wii tennis elbow (its happend often)
and dance revolution-related ankle sprains.
he saying :
"I was playing with a few friends when my mother asked me to get my daughter's PJs," he told Asylum. "I didn't realize that my Xbox Live headset was wrapped around my chair's arm, so when I got up quickly, 'BAM!' The wire got caught and my head smashed right into my Mac, which was sitting on a stereo a few feet off the ground."
"I put my hand to my head and saw just three little dots of blood and didn't think it was serious," he continues.
"As I'm going in to deliver the PJs I felt a warm liquid drip down my face. I rushed to the mirror to see a huge gash above my eyebrow. It looked like Miguel Cotto gave me a mean left hook. "
The accident called for a quick trip to the hospital, but a few hours later he was online fragging again thanks to a real-life painkiller perk prescribed by the doctor.
"The doctor gave me six stitches and now I have my very own Call of Duty battle scar," he said.

i don´t skip school just becuse of my games.
its really annoying when people like obama saying things like "gaming is bad" "if you play games youre not a part of the future .. " he should ask him self "why do they play? do they learn something from the game? is there any good reasons? " THERE IS!
i should adopt his son i bet he isnt allowd to have any fun ..
Ofcourse he dosent like tech and games..

EA Sports trying to kill game resales
Hey EA, thank you for giving me another reason to boycott your games.
Oh and let's not forget that EA is pulling the plug on online support for dozens of its other older games. Leaving owners unable to play previous generation of games to continue to enjoy them online. Despite how inexpensive it is to support servers once they are up. This is yet another attempt to extract more money by forcing players to purchase the new version of game or double charge for the same game.

yes you read right , Nintendo DS´family had become the best selling game handheld of all time, with a total of 129 million units sold!And how about the previous record holder ?
OFC .. Nintendo´s older handheld, the Game Boy is now longer nr 1 !
its a bit ironic that the nintendo DS is taking the Game Boy´s Crow. but for me Game Boy will always be my nr 1 .. i even sold my DS on ebay ^^
